Biography: Janet Jackson is an American singer, songwriter, and actress. She is the younger sister of late music icon Michel Jackson. She is the youngest child of the Jackson family. Janet started with the variety television series The Jacksons in 1976 and appeared in several TV shows in the 1970s and early 1980s, including Good Times and Fame. She started her music career with the album Janet (1993), and became a pop icon with her album Control (1986). She has amassed an extensive catalog of hits, with singles such as "Nasty", "Rhythm Nation", "If", "That's the Way Love Goes", "Together Again" and "All for You" among her most iconic.
