Biography: Sanjay Khan made his Hindi film debut in Chetan Anand’s Haqeeqat (1964). His second movie was Rajshri film’s Dosti. Some of the movies that he was part of were Dus Lakh, Ek Phool Do Mali and Intaqam. Sanjay Khan also acted along with his brother Feroz Khan in three films -- Upaasna (1971), Mela (1971) and Nagin (1976). He was the scriptwriter for movies such as Chandi Sona (1977), Abdullah (1980) and Kala Dhanda Goray Log (1986). Sanjay Khan directed and starred in the very popular series The Sword of Tipu Sultan. He suffered mishap during the shoot. He also has to his credit the super successful TV-series Jai Hanuman (1997–2000), which he directed and produced. This popular drama which depicted the birth and childhood of Lord Hanuman for the first time in Indian television was able to capture the imagination of the mass and win the hearts of young and old alike. His daughter Suzanne Khan was married to Hrithik Roshan and his son is actor Zayed Khan.
