Biography: David Ayer is an American screenwriter, film producer and director. He is best known as the writer of Training Day, and the director and writer of Harsh Times, Street Kings, Sabotage, and critically acclaimed film End of Watch. He wrote and directed the film Fury, set in the background of World War II, starring Brad Pitt, Shia LaBeouf and Logan Lerman released in October 2014, also won rave reviews and was a box-office success. Ayer also wrote screenplay for movies like, Squids ( based on his experiences as a U.S. Navy sailor), The Fast and the Furious, Dark Blue, and S.W.A.T., to name a few.
