Biography: Gulshan Grover is one of the most famous villains of Indian cinema and has earned the name of 'Bad Man' for his performance and variety of get-ups associated with each role. Grover has worked in over 400 films and come about a long way since his debut in Hum Paanch (1980) to work in numerous movies notable ones are; Arth (1981), Sadma (1982), Rocky (1981), Avtaar (1983), Ram Lakhan (1989), Khatron Ke Khiladi (1988), Mohra (1994), Raja Babu (1994), International Khiladi (1999), Earth (1998), Yes Boss (1997), Hera Pheri (2000), Lajja (2002), Boom (2003), Gangster (2006), Karzzzz (2008), Knock Out (2010) and very recently a cameo in Agent Vinod (2012). Grover is also one of the few actors who have made a successful transition from Bollywood to Hollywood with international films like Marigold (2007), Desperate Endeavors, Breaking Waves (2011), Blind Ambition (2008) and Sweet Amerika (2008).His 2010 release, I Am Kalam has won him accolades for his supporting role. The film was showcased in the Cannes film Festival and Grover was nominated in the National Film Awards (2011) in Supporting Actor category.His other awards include the BBC Award in 2001, for contribution to Indian Cinema, The Giant’s Award in Art & Cinema (2003) and The Stardust Best Actor Award in 2012 for I Am Kalam.
