Biography: When it comes to movies based on the martial arts, Jackie Chan stands uncontested (only second to Bruce Lee). Jackie Chan’s first success was Snake in the Eagle’s Shadow (1978). This film proved to be the foundation of the comedic kung fu genre. After Drunken Master, Chan was pushed into mainstream popularity. Two of his most popular movie series are the Rush Hour series and the Police Story series. In the recent past, Chan has acted in many movies, including The Spy Next Door (2010), The Karate Kid (2010) and Little Big Soldier (2010). He has also voiced the character of ‘Monkey’ in Kung Fu Panda (2008). He and his wife Lin-Feng jiao have a son.
