Biography: Jean Dujardin started off his career as a stand-up comedian in Paris, before he started appearing in comedy shows and movies. His most prominent role that cemented his fame in the international world was that of George Valentin in the 2011 silent movie, The Artist. This role won him many awards, inclusive of the Academy Award for Best Actor, Golden Globe Award for Best Actor- Motion Picture Musical or Comedy, BAFTA Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role, the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role and the Cannes Film Festival Best Actor. He has also appeared in Martin Scorsese's The Wolf of Wall Street and George Clooney's 2014 historical drama The Monuments Men.
