Biography: Justin Chadwick is an English actor and television and film director. He made his debut on screen in 1991, with London Kills Me. Some of his notable performances include movies such as The Loss of Sexual Innocence and TV shows such as Heartbeat, Dangerfield, Dalziel and Pascoe. He made his directorial debut in 1993, with the TV movie Family Style. He was nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Directing for a Miniseries, Movie or Dramatic Special, the Royal Television Society Award for Breakout Performance Behind the Scenes, and the BAFTA Award for Best Direction for Bleak House, which was the Best Drama Serial winner in the British Academy Television Awards 2006. His other notable directorial accolades include The Other Boleyn Girl (2008), The First Grader (2010), Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom (2013) and Tulip Fever (2015). His recent movies include Birdsong (2012) and Jamaica Inn (2008).
