• Sonam likes reading a lot. In fact in school she used to read Hardy Boys, Nancy Drew, Enid Blyton rather than play with dolls or go out. Her other interests include shopping, writing, playing squash and basketball, video games and painting.
• She loves watching the eternal divas of Bollywood - Sridevi, Madhuri Dixit Nene and Rani Mukerji dance. Sonam herself has learnt Kathak for 12 years and also knows Latin dance.
• She says that Ranbir Kapoor is one of her best friends.
• A fashionista herself, Sonam's favourite brands include Chanel, Jean Paul Gaultier and Dior.
