Biography: Sudha Shivpuri is a television and movie actress. She started her acting career with theatre. She and her husband even had a theatre company called Drishantar. She made her movie debut with Basu Chatterjee's Swami in 1977 and went on to act in films such as Insaaf Ka Tarazu, Hamari Bahu Alka, Sawan Ko Aane Do, Sun Meri Laila, Burning Train, Vidhaata, Maya Memsaab (1993) and Pinjar (2003). She has also starred in television series such as Missing, Rishtey, Sarhadeinand Bandhan. Her big break in television came in 2000 with the role of Baa in the TV serial Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. Some of her other shows include Sheeshe Ka Ghar, Waqt Ka Dariya, Daman, Santoshi Ma, Yeh Ghar, Kasamh Se, and Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil.
