Superstar Aamir Khan has wished success for Shahrukh Khan’s highly ambitious production venture RA.One, which is set to hit the screens on Diwali. “My best wishes to Shahrukh and the entire team. They have put in a lot of money and effort. I wish and hope they get their due respect. I hope the film does well,” Aamir told reporters at the announcement of his TV debut at a press conference on Saturday in Mumbai. RA.One sees Shahrukh playing the role of superhero G.One or Jeevan, while Arjun Rampal plays the evil RA.One on whom the film has been named. The sci-fi thriller stars Kareena Kapoor in a prominent role opposite SRK. Shahrukh is leaving no stone unturned to make his big budget film a success in which he is playing a superhero for the first time. He has been aggressively promoting the film all over. RA.One releases on October 26, 2011.
