Actor Anupam Kher‘s father Pushkar Nath Kher passed away in Mumbai after a brief illness. He was 84. Anupam, who had just landed in Goa to attend Rohit Dhawan’s wedding celebrations, tweeted, “As I landed in Goa my brother Raju called from Mumbai that the “Best Dad in the World” ( our father ) is No More. Traveling back.” The actor’s dad had recently shifted to Mumbai from their hometown Shimla, as he was unwell. On his father’s birthday on January 28, Anupam had tweeted, “Many men can make a fortune, but very few can build a family.” My father did just did that. It is his 84th birthday today. Best Dad Ever.” RIP.
