Arbaaz Khan to play a negative role in a Kannada film

If big brother Salman Khan can piggy back on regional films (read remakes) for success, then why not Arbaaz Khan. But there’s a slight difference. The Dabangg producer isn’t buying a script or anything of that sort. He is going to do a Kannada film Chatrapathi which will be directed by Dinish Gandhi. Unlike Sallu, he will play a negative role in this high-budget regional movie. This isn’t the first time he will turn a bad guy onscreen though. Arbaaz in his first Hindi film Daraar, an unofficial remake of Hollywood’s Sleeping with the Enemy, played a villainous role of a psychotic wife beater. And he also won several awards for his performance. Maybe, again the negative role can bring him in limelight for acting skills and not just production.
