Dia Mirza denies being questioned by customs

Former Miss Asia Pacific  and Bollywood actor Dia Mirza was recently reported to have been fined for about Rs 1 lakh for carrying undeclared items worth Rs 2 lakh upon her arrival at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai. The actor landed at the airport at around 2 am from Bangkok by a Thai Airways flight. But Dia later rubbished the reports and claimed that no such thing happened. “For those that are running unverified news about me please be informed that I was not questioned by customs for undeclared jewellery. False,” Dia posted on Twitter.  Last year, actors like Bipasha Basu and Minissha Lamba were among the celebrities detained at the airport after they were found carrying undeclared goods.
