Reality shows are all about the money, honey, never mind what happens after you grab that fat cheque. But the audiences love them, the producers are happy and the contestants have one helluva experience. The first season of X Factor India, a spinoff from Simon Cowell’s super-successful show, has just ended, with Geet Sagar from Shreya Ghoshal’s team winning with more public votes than Seema Jha from Sonu Nigam’s team and the Sajda sisters from Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s team. Geet, now 27, has bagged himself Rs 50 lakh, a Tata Manza car and a song in a Karan Johar film. We wish him the best of luck with his musical dreams!
