We heard that filmmaker Deepa Sahi is currently working on the 3D conversion of the 1975 Ramesh Sippy cult classic, Sholay. Confirming the same, Sahi said, “We are doing Sholay in 3D. My studio (Maya Digital Studio) is working on it. It’s a very exciting project. I saw some parts that we have already finished, they are looking awesome. I saw Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra’s train sequence, firing bullets, it is in 3D and it is looking great.” However, the filmmaker is not certain as to how long it would take to complete the 3D conversion as they have completed just 12 minutes of the 204-minute action thriller. This sounds really exciting and we are waiting with bated breath to watch Sholay on the big screen and this time in 3D.Subscribe to me on YouTube
