Is RA.ONE’s ‘Dildara’ song a Ben E King rip-off?

Do you remember the Pretty Woman song from Shahrukh Khan’s Kal Ho Naa Ho? Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy had used the hook of Roy Orbison’s original version. Something similar has been pulled off by the music composer duo Vishal-Shekhar for SRK’s next, RA.One. V&S have used the hook of the popular Ben E King song, Stand by me. We are not sure if it was King Khan’s idea or not, but somehow we didn’t like the new song. It could be probably because of the fusion they have tried; it is just not working for us. Click here to watch Dildara song. Do tell us if you liked it.

What a lame article and a lame opinion. Is the person supposed to be a professional entertainment journalist – I highly doubt that a 6th grader can write a better review than this.

It’s not a “rip-off”. In SRK’s video he uploaded before releasing the song promo, he mentions that he bought the rights. In YouTube video of the song, see the description. It’s mentioned there too.

the writer of this article hasn;t done any research on the subject. what a waste of an article. as abhishek mentioned, the rights to the song were acquired by srk and he clearly stated that before releasing the song. about the song being good or bad, thats just personal opinion
