Madhur Bhandarkar to challenge court order in Preeti Jain’s rape case

Director Madhur Bhandarkar pleads ‘not guilty’. The A-list director was summoned by court to give his statement on the Preeti Jain rape case filed against him by the aspiring actress in 2004. The controversial case was moved to the Andheri court in 2009. Bhandarkar is ordered to be in court on October 18 to give his statement against the allegations of repeated rape. The director said that he will challenge the order of the court after reading the judgement and Bhandarkar is confident that he will be proven innocent in the court of law. While he has full faith in the law, Bhandarkar’s lawyer is aiming to get an anticipatory bail in the Mumbai Sessions Court.
