Mohnish Behl on ‘Kuch Toh Log Kahenge’: Fans want him back!

A middle-aged character actor of Bollywood is hugely popular on Indian television. This is an unexplained phenomenon. When Mohnish Behl decided to quit his popular show Kuch Toh Log Kahenge that had him playing the lead, there was a furore. And that he might be replaced by Anuj Saxena or Sharad Kelkar was announced on our site before anyone else. As a result, there was a tsunami of comments by Mohnish fans who went crazy asking for his return. This was reminiscent of the rage during the Mihir Virani death phase in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. Interestingly, both shows belong to Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms. Here are some of the comments on Mohnish saying bye to Kuch Toh Log Kahenge:

“The performance of MB N KK right from the beginning created an addiction in the eyes of the viewers so many of them cannot absorb the replacement of MB in the show. MB N KK are the soul of the show either or any of them would have been replaced the action of the viewers would be the same. Getting into replacement of the character and doing justice to it Is not easy.”

“its over a month and viewres are still asking for MB to be back as Dr Ashu .With no offense to Sk the serial cannot revive without MB . Everything has gone flat with him gone – the spark has gone from Nidhi too . We sincerely request Sony to bring MB back and if there are health issues they can increse the track with Dr Ranganath and Anjie – some thing can be worked out – after all it is the viewers that channels make serials for . Please Sony listen to us . Thanks”

“MB come back on the show we all viewers are preferring to see old epi of KTLK. without you the show has lost its meaning. May be Sk is a good actor but not suitable for this Role. Sony TV and KTLK producer bring MB back for all your viewers. We miss are Dr. Ashu MB we miss you.”

“The show started as an unusual love story between two person with a vast age difference which was portrayed quite well.the hesitation and awkwardness between both personalities was natural. Love can be expressed by concern, caring, being protective.as the vast age difference it would not be right couple holding hands or hugging. Expression of eyes can also reveal love. MB N KK were too good in there expressions many people may like SK N KK together, compatibility between MB N KK was adorable. People watching almost all shows will never feel bad for the replacement but people who watch hardly 1 or 2 shows will feel always disheartened.”

“Mohinsh behl has certain aura about him and it’s visible in this show. His character has come out very neat and beautiful. When the real star is replaced the essence of that character is lost forever.I request not to replace Mr. MB. Work out a way to accommodate his schedule, don’t tax too much so that he gets back ache. You can do it. Just do it.”
