Rakhi Sawant’s father passes away

Actor Rakhi Sawant’s father, Anand Sawant passed away yesterday on May 15, 2012. He was a policeman. According to reports, Sawant had been unwell for quite a while and the illness lead to his demise. But the reason has not been confirmed yet. The last rites of Sawant were held at Oshiwara crematorium in Mumbai last evening. Not all was well between Rakhi and her dad because he used to live with his first wife, according to reports. While Rakhi puts up a brave front, the lady had confessed in interviews that she missed being with her father. Bollywoodlife offers condolences to Rakhi, her mother Jaya Sawant and her brother Rakesh Sawant.
