Singers Roopkumar Rathod and Sonali Rathod are all set to make this Republic Day special.  The duo aim at creating a Guinness World Record for maximum number of people singing a national anthem. “Singing Jana Gana Mana to set a world record is a befitting and rousing way to commemorate one hundred years of the national anthem, and Sonali and I are delighted and humbled that we will be part of the record-setting attempt. It will be our small tribute to the great composition of Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore,” Roopkumar says.

And Prashant Damle, Kailash and Aarti Surendranath, Tushar Gandhi (Mahatma Gandhi’s grandson) along with several leaders, public figures and residents of Aurangabad will sing along with the Rathods at the Divisional Sports Complex, Garkheda at Aurangabad. Must say, we’re touched.
