The South Asian Film Festival (SAFF) commenced in Goa yesterday with the special screening of the Shammi Kapoor’s Kashmir Ki Kali. The film was shown as a special tribute to late Shammiji. Randhir Kapoor and Rajiv Kapoor were part of the guest list as Goa chief minister Digambar Kamat inaugurated the function. The main theme of the festival this year is ‘Dissolving boundaries’ the motive is to spread the message of togetherness among all the south Asian countries. The annual festival is also set also pay tribute to Bangladeshi film maker Tareque Masud who was killed in a fatal bus accident near Dhaka on August 26.
