3 things Bollywood heroines should learn from Kangana Ranaut

The Queen actor definitely stands out amidst Bollywood babes

Kangana Ranaut’s growing fan base in and outside Bollywood post the release of Queen has not come as a surprise to us. The Fashion babe stands out from her contemporaries in more than one way. How else do you explain everybody from Amitabh Bachchan to Aamir Khan and Ranbir Kapoor going ga ga about Kangy? Her looks, her style, attitude, choice of films and real life bold avatar are all hatke as compared to Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone or then Priyanka Chopra. Here are few attributes of Ms Ranaut that B-town beauties can seek some inspiration from.

Recently Kangana stepped into Vidya Balan’s shoes in Sujoy Ghosh’s film Durga Rani Singh, where the actor will be playing a 35-year-old mother to a 14-year old paralytic girl. Interestingly, heroines twice Kangy’s age like Madhuri Dixit Nene and Juhi Chawla have stayed away from playing a mommy on screen. We love how this 27-year-old hottie doesn’t mind ageing on screen.

Her bold avatar onscreen is no different off it too. Remember how bindaas Ranaut admitted that ‘it was mistake dating a married man’ in an interview immediately after her break up with Suraj Pancholi’s father Aditya Pancholi. That’s not it, when her affair with Ajay Devgn made it to the cover of a popular filmi magazine – ‘Ajay & Kangana – The Affair, The break-up and The aftermath’, Kangana walked with her head held high. This despite the fact that she was side-lined from her film’s promotions with the actor. For all heroines who secretly guard their personal affairs, may be they need a cue from this babe who doesn’t mind wearing her heart on her sleeve.

From her different types of films and roles to the not-so-conventional curly hair and peculiar accent, Kangana dares to be different literally. Much before her colleagues, she did films where she was not a prop singing and dancing around the tress. While this long legged beauty is one babe who can pull off any look, colour or hairdo with panache, wethinks she could easily inspire Katrina Kaif and Sonakshi Sinha to make some chic bold style statements.

Here’s more power to the actor who actually chooses to stay out of the No 1 race and refused the ‘Queen of Bollywood‘ title.Subscribe to me on YouTube

She did a great job in Queen but time will tell whether she has the longevity to reign. I don’t think there’s any use in putting the other actresses down. Each one brings something to the screen as evidenced by their fan base. Katrina Kaif’s role in Bombay Talkies is just as relevant, because gay youth will feel inspired by the song You Can Be, and who else could have represented that better than Katrina? Sonakshi has her own unique look and has come a long way with her diet which sets another example for many who can relate to the struggle to lose weight. Deepika clearly wears her heart on her sleeve, i.e., her love for Ranbir Kapoor. I can go on and on with examples but I think you get the point.

I think it’s versatility and acting prowess being discussed here not a song highlighting homosexuality or an actress’s weight loss or love affairs. Kangana is super talented-very natural- and Queen above others has proven that.

@Remu The bottom line is Kangana is the best actress of Bollywood- that’s simply it; no other contemporary actress in Bollywood comes even close to her when it comes to acting talent… as far as popularity goes, well, popularity is not directly related to talent like some naive people assume – it is a well-known fact from the history of mankind
