5 reasons why Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone’s Happy New Year will be a hit!

The trailer of SRK and Dippy’s much-awaited film is out and here are five reasons why wethinks their film will be a blockbuster

After Om Shanti Om, Farah Khan has teamed up once again with Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone. Her upcoming directorial venture Happy New Year, which is touted as one of biggest films of this year, stars King Khan and DP alongside Abhishek Bachchan, Sonu Sood, Boman Irani and Vivaan Shah. While the much-anticipated film will hit the theatres around Diwali, the trailer has been released and we totally liked it. In fact, we also think HNP will turn out to be a crowd puller. Here’s why….

Peppy Music

Farah Khan films are always high on music and Happy New Year is no different. In the trailer, we got to hear two songs – Radhe radhe bolo and Indiawaale. While the former is a dahi handi song, the latter one is a typical Bollywood dance number. Both the tracks have catchy lyrics and upbeat music. And that’s one reason why we feel this film is going to be a musical treat.

Lavishly shot

Farah Khan is not known for making larger then life movies but HNY is an exception. The talented filmmaker has mostly shot the film in Dubai and how! We just loved it and can’t wait to zoom off to the desert city. Well, we could call Khan’s film grand but that would be an understatement. Watch the trailer and you’ll agree with us!

Complete package

Happy New Year has it all – dance, music, drama, action, comedy and lastly a stellar star cast. Even the dialogues that SRK mouths are dhamakedaar. Overall, HNY seems to have all the elements needed for a film to be a blockbuster. Kudos to the director for that!

Shah Rukh Khan – Deepika Padukone

Every time these two actors have come together, they have scorched the big screen. This time too the scenario is pretty much the same. Though Happy New Year isn’t a romantic film, SRK and Dippy’s chemistry is still crackling. They are absolutely mad in the trailer but very cute at the same time.

Equal coverage

Farah Khan has given equal footage to all her actors. Even though Happy New Year is a multi-starrer, every character has been defined well and given equal screen time. Even in the trailer, you get to capture the essence of all of them – SRK, Deepika, Abhishek, Sonu, Boman and Vivaan.

While we, at BollywoodLife, are eagerly waiting for the movie to release, we’d like to hear your what you think about the trailer. Post in your comments here.
