Aamir Khan beats Shahrukh Khan and Ranveer Singh to romance Deepika Padukone in Karan Johar’s Shuddhi?

Buzz is that the Student Of The Year director is keen to cast Aamir in Shuddhi opposite Deepika

While it’s confirmed that Deepika Padukone has replaced Kareena Kapoor Khan as the heroine in Shuddhi, the guessing game is just going on and on as far as the male lead is concerned. Originally, it was Hrithik Roshan who was roped in as the hero of the film, but he walked out of the project and chose to work with Katrina Kaif in Bang Bang.

Ever since then various names like Shahrukh Khan and Dippy’s alleged beau Ranveer Singh have been doing the rounds to play the male lead in Shuddhi. However, now we hear that it’s neither SRK nor Ranveer who has replaced Roshan Jr in the film. In fact, it’s none other than Mr Perfectionist, Aamir Khan who will romance Ms Padukone in Karan Johar’s much talked about project. There is a strong buzz that KJo wants Aamir to star in Shuddhi. And if at all he manages this, it will surely be a casting coup of sorts, which will ultimately give the film a big boost. And why not? After all the deadly combo of Aamir and Deepika in Shuddhi will surely get the cash registers ringing at the box office, hai na?

And remember not so long ago Ms Padukone had a wishlist of heroes she wants to work with that included names of Salman Khan (her current favourite co-star Shahrukh’s arch rival), Aamir and of course the original hero of Shuddhi – Hrithik Roshan. While her dream to work with the Krrish 3 actor and the Dabangg Khan is yet to come true, we’re sure she would be elated to share the screen space with the Dhoom: 3 actor. After all that’s what she has wished for, right?

While we are happy to see Dippy’s wish to work with the perfectionist Khan come true, BollywoodLifers you tell us – do you think Aamir Khan is the perfect replacement for Hrithik Roshan in Shuddhi?Subscribe to me on YouTube
