The superstar confessed that he enjoyed Amitabh Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan and Salman Khan’s TV shows, but turned a deaf ear when asked about Shahrukh Khan’s stints as a host

At the recent press conference of Aamir Khan’s TV show Satyamev Jayate, a show the superstar states is for the common people, he was asked if he ever got time out of his busy schedule to catch his colleagues in action on the small screen. Surprisingly, the Talaash actor replied in affirmative and went on to show off his TV viewing habits. Aamir said that he liked watching everyone from the much senior Amitabh Bachchan and his genuinely good friend Salman Khan to his junior Duggu aka Hrithik Roshan in the shoes of show hosts. The superstar felt each one of them added their individual touch to television programmes they hosted.

We must give brownie points to Aamir for doing his homework. But just one thought, how can one mention of TV shows and not think of Shahrukh Khan, who has done three shows – Kaun Banega Crorepati?, Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain? and Zor Ka Jhatka! Thankfully a curious reporter shared our sentiments and asked Mr Perfectionist if he had watched the Badshah of B-town in action. Guess what Aamir did, he conveniently looked away from the inquisitive journo and started talking of other things.

This isn’t the first time that the Talaash actor has made his dislike for SRK’s TV shows obvious. A long time ago, Aamir had said he didn’t enjoy SRK’s shows. But this time he felt it was better not to repeat his old words, otherwise it would have sparked off a new controversy. Or probably he and his good friend Salman, another arch rival of SRK, have decided to publicly ignore anything and everything to do with the Badshah Khan. What do you think?
