The actor-director and the Pakistani cricketer bump into each other during the Hajj pilgrimage and a camaraderie develops between them
The world is a small place. And for our jet-setting celebrities, it is even smaller! So it comes as no surprise when they bump into each other while trotting the globe.In a similar manner, Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi bumped into none other than Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, as both of them were performing Hajj. Aamir, who left Mumbai for the pilgrimage along with his mother Zeenat on October 19, met Afridi in Mecca city on October 22.
The duo was also captured by fans eating together and listening to popular priest Maulana Tariq Jamil who gave a sermon on the benefits of the pilgrimage. While Afridi did not continue the Hajj and left for Pakistan, Aamir continued his pilgrimage along with his mother.
Aamir is on a 14-day pilgrimage to Mecca, and sent a message yesterday that he would remember late filmmaker Yash Chopra – who passed away on October 21 – in his prayers. Aamir is currently doing Dhoom:3 with Yash Raj Films and was close to Chopra, though he couldn’t make it to his funeral because of the pilgrimage.

Why is Aamir leaking his pics & videos from Hajj? Why can’t he do his piligrimage without involving media? Very pathetic to use Hajj for publicity!
