Director Reema Kagti’s debut film Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd. didn’t quite set the cash registers ringing but her second outing Talaash starring Aamir Khan has started minting money already! The much anticipated film of the year, Talaash, starring Aamir Khan, has been sold and it has fetched Rs 90 crore for the theatrical rights. The film has been sold to Reliance Entertainment and will hit the screens on June 2012. Besides Aamir, Talaash also stars Rani Mukerji and Kareena Kapoor.
This is Aamir’s yet another psychological thriller after his successful outing at BO with Ghajini. As always, Aamir has been tight-lipped about the story. The film’s screenplay is written by Zoya Akhtar. With Rs 90 crore already in his pocket Aamir has beaten Shahrukh Khan, who had bagged Rs 80 crore for Farhan Akhtar’s Don 2. The new year has begun on a good note for Aamir and it seems the 3 idiots star is gearing up to set the BO on fire once again with his stunning performance. Though the teaser trailer wasn’t as exciting as it was expected to be, we are sure that the fans can’t wait to watch a new Aamir Khan film! What about you Bollywoodlifers?
