Aamir Khan and Salman Khan appeared together nearly 18 years ago in Rajkumar Santoshi’s 1994 comedy flick Andaz Apna Apna. But surprisingly, Aamir has never worked with Shahrukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan or even Akshay Kumar in his illustrious career spanning over two decades.

It’s a known fact that Aamir shares a warm equation with Big B and the two have been spotted bonding big time at many events in the recent past. Unfortunately, the same can’t be said about Aamir’s rapport with Shahrukh Khan. The two have never missed a single opportunity to take potshots at each other. But recently, we hear, at the premiere of Yash Chopra’s Jab Tak Hai Jaan, the two patched up…or at least were civil and smiling when the met each other.

Our little birdie who was present at the exclusive do chirped to us that Aamir played an instrumental role in taking Salman Khan a step forward to meet SRK. Some even say that Big B encouraged the two warring Khans to resolve their differences and come together. So have the two mega-stars patched up finally at the grand premiere of JTHJ, we wondered. “It’s not my place to comment on other people’s personal lives and relationships. But what I can say is that Adi (Aditya Chopra) had organised a lovely evening in memory of his father Yashji (Yash Chopra), and I am glad that so many from the film fraternity came and interacted with each other warmly. It was a wonderful night,” said Aamir in an interview to a daily.

Now we hope after that ‘warm’ interaction, as Aamir puts it, the two will work together in the future. “I would love to work with both (SRK and Salman). And why three Khans only? I haven’t worked with Amitji and Akshay Kumar, I would want to work with these people as well. It’ll be great if someone casts us in a movie,” added Mr Perfectionist.

Now that will be a fantastic project to aspire to. Just imagine the entire ‘Khan’daan coming together for the mega-blockbuster of all time! Big B and Akki too can jump on that starry bandwagon. Now that’s too big a thought to entertain, isn’t it? But hey, we all know that anything can happen in Bollywood, right? So keep your finger crossed, BollywoodLifers!
