But only for a special Independence Day episode
Did you miss watching Aamir Khan’s Satyamev Jayate last Sunday? It ended on July 29, and we’re sure that fans of the actor and the show found their August 5 Sunday morning kinda empty. But not to worry! Aamir will back on your TV screen, if only for a day.
Yes, the superstar has shot a special episode of Satyamev Jayate, to be aired on August 15, the Indian Independence Day. Overwhelmed by the response to his show, Aamir will measure and discuss the impact each episode of SJ has had on the country. He will also thank viewers for their tremendous support and feedback – whether through email, SMS, social media, phone calls, letters or donations. In fact, Rs 8 crore has been gathered in the form of contributions to the various NGOs and charities it has been associated with.
The concluding episode will be called Satyamev Jayate Ka Safar. As usual, it will be aired on Star Plus and DD1, the regional channels Star Pravah and Star Jalsha, and English channel Star World at 11am on August 15. Now this is what we call saying goodbye in style, Aamir!
