Aamir Khan’s Talaash music launch to happen in Mumbai’s red light area?

The producers of the film have chosen Kamathipura as the location for the big event

While Aamir Khan is working day and night in Chicago for Dhoom 3, back home Talaash producers – Excel Entertainment – are chalking out promotional plans for their psychological thriller, it releases on November 30.

Our birdie the buddy overheard a secret that the top bosses and staffers at Excel have been keeping under wraps. The music launch of Talaash will be held on October 17 – but what’s more interesting is the venue for the event – at India’s biggest red light area Kamathipura. Yes, no fancy five star hotels for the Talaash team! But are you wondering why Kamathipura? If you recollect Aamir’s character traverses through the dark lanes of a similar street and gets involved with a streetwalker Rosie (played by Kareena Kapoor) in the trailer of Reema Kagti’s film.

Will superstar Aamir manage to take time out from his busy Dhoom 3 schedule for the music gig? Yes! For all you know it could be the Satyamev Jayate host’s brilliant idea – blending business with noble causes – to release Talaash’s score among a section of the society that’s high in demand but mostly neglected.
