The film’s producer Ritesh Sidhwani dumps water on the story about film being released in 2013
Aamir Khan’s Talaash has been in the news for its delays for too long now. The latest buzz suggests that the movie’s release will probably be pushed to 2013, all thanks to Aamir’s fallout with director Reema Kagti. Apparently, like always, Mr Perfectionist has poked his nose into creative matters, an involvement that didn’t go well down very well with Miss Director.
According to cynical birdies on our friends list, a miffed Aamir has given the dates allotted for the promotions of Talaash away for the shoot of Rajkumar Hirani’s Peekay. Oops! That’s why, we are told, the release of the much-awaited thriller is pushed to 2013.
So we called the film’s producer Ritesh Sidhwani to clear the fog hovering over the release of the Aamir Khan-Rani Mukerji-Kareena Kapoor starrer. He says, “The stories are absolutely untrue. We are releasing the film on 30th November.”
Ah, all those Aamir fans can take it easy, finally. The ace actor will keep his date with the audience this year. Meanwhile, our investigative buddy has unraveled the story, finding out that there’s no spat between the actor and director. The final edit of Talaash has been locked in and the team is in working on the second trailer.
