The only B-towner who had two nicknames before she got a proper registered name will get another moniker in the days to come, we are sure

Beti B has a name! The latest speculation is that Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan have named their daughter Aaradhya. Of course, there’s been no official confirmation or denial from the Bachchan family at this point. Considering how quick Amitabh Bachchan was to deny the buzz about Abhilasha being the not-so-newborn’s name, wethink this time the speculation might be right on the money. Whatever the name may be, it is the nickname that will make her stand out in the industry. There may be many Kareenas, Karismas and Priyankas in the world, but how many are well-loved as Bebo, Lolo and Piggy? We took a look at the pet names of our fave B-towners and wondered what Aaradhya might be called….

Ajay Singh Deol and Vijay Singh Deol: Never heard of them, you say? You have, you just didn’t know it. They prefer to go by their nicknames – Sunny and Bobby. Ah! Now you get it!

Achal Kapoor: Anil Kapoor has gained international recognition with his own name, but his brother is known widely by his nickname: Boney.He is even credited in his films as Boney Kapoor and not as Achal Kapoor.

So what might Aaradhya be known as in the future? Shehas already created Bollywood history of sorts by being the first baby to get not one, but two nicknames: Beti B and Bitiya. That too, before she got a properly registered official name! Will her pet name be short and sweet, like Aaru, for instance? Along the lines of Jaggu, Duggu, Guddu… all good friends of her family. Or Aari, like Piggy and Abhi? Or something much more powerful, say Aarud, to rhyme with Barood? Or Radha, to be in keeping with the poetic streak in the family? Perhaps, Abhi’s Baby,as opposed to her dad who is still AB’s Baby for many….. What do you think?
