Aishwarya Rai Bachchan turned down an offer opposite Brad Pitt

This may be old news that’s come into the limelight just recently, but what surprises us is the fact that while most chicks would give their enthusiastic nods to such an offer, Ash simply let it go

Director Wolfgang Peterson thought Aishwarya Rai Bachchan would be a perfect cutout for the role of Briseis for his 2004 blockbuster, Troy. She was asked to play Brad Pitt’s love interest in the movie. Although Pitt’s portrayal as Achilles was appreciated by all and sundry, now we have all of a sudden started to wonder what kinda couple Pitt and Ash would make ? Would they have a sizzling or an average chemistry? Just when we figured that it’s pointless thinking about all this now, there’s one more thing that started gnawing away at our brains. We checked Ash’s film resume and discovered that in 2004 the actor was busy gearing up for movies like Bride and Prejudice and Kyon…! Ho Gaya Na. We suggest she gets into the retrospection mode and figure the kinda mistakes she’s made career-wise.

And just when you thought the babe only has weight related issues, here’s a revelation – she also has dreadful acumen when it comes to choosing her films.

Just because Troy is a Hollywood film doesn’t make it anymore important than Kyon ho gaya na! Typical Indian mentality. Not everyone is as fame hungry and desperate as you Bollywood Life! I’m not denying that Aishwarya Rai makes bad decisions when it comes to films because at times she does let go of many important films, she said it herself that she had to let go of many films because of time and her schedule. But that doesn’t mean she has to take up every Hollywood film that comes her way. No one should be that desperate. She refused to do Troy because of intimate scenes and her schedule. Is she supposed to be uncomfortable and give up her values and dignity just because it’s a Hollywood film? What if she got an offer which required her to show a lot of skin do you think she should accept that too because it’s from Hollywood? Then you would criticize her and Indians would look down on her for taking such a role. She also could have already given her dates to Bride and Prejudice & kyon ho gaya na, so how can she back out at last moment. That would be unprofessional. Please do some research before writing articles and maybe think a little! Sorry but I’m so tired of your senseless, poorly researched articles.
