Apart from Kajol, Ajay Devgn and Shahrukh Khan share the belief that one should always follow one’s heart!
Ajay Devgn and Shahrukh Khan are not buddies but they share a little more in common, apart from Kajol. Both share a basic code of life that got revealed at a recent event. When Ajay’s manager Kumar Mangat turned producer, the actor supported him wholeheartedly. This also extended to Mangat’s son, Abhishek Pathak, who has produced a youth-oriented film Pyaar ka Punchnama. Like any youngster the 20-something Abhishek was caught in a dilemma between college and films. He reveals at the music launch of his film, “Ajay bhaiya told me to give up college and get into films.” Ajay, who travelled a long distance to be at the music launch, did not want to send out a misleading message so he immediately quipped, “But why don’t you tell them (media) that since you were not good in studies I told you to leave college. I told Abhishek to do what he was interested in. He wanted to be in films.” Call it coincidence, but SRK’s first youth production Always Kabhi Kabhi, is about a bunch of teenagers who follow their heart. As pointed out by the director of the film in an interview, Roshan Abbas, “SRK is a living example of someone who has followed his own path. Once he (SRK) told me, “I could have been a hundred other things but it’s just that somebody believed in me. My mother told me to go and do what I want to do!”
