Ajay Devgn’s Action Jackson to clash with Akshay Kumar’s Shaukeen remake on November 7

The Ajay-Akshay rivalry dates back a long time. The two have averted clashing twice this year, but it seems they are not third time lucky. Read on to find out why….

Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar are not the best of friends, is a fact that most people in Bollywood are aware of. Now we get to know that the two are all set to clash at the box office on November 7 with Action Jackson and Shaukeen remake.

The rivalry as we recall dates back to the time when the two did Khakee together. Grapevine had it that Ajay was miffed at the fact that Akshay tried to cut short the screen presence of Ajay’s character. Later on the two went ahead to give more air to their rivalry. Akshay pushed his Action Replayy to clash with Ajay’s Golmaal 3 in 2010 while Ajay preponed the release of his Toonpur Ka Superhero to clash with Akshay’s Tees Maar Khan.

Even this year the two were gonna collide with both Action Jackson and Holiday slated to release on June 6. However Ajay wanted Singham Returns to be his first release this year and therefore decided to postpone Action Jackson. People had just started thinking that the rivalry was now giving way to some friendship that the two decided to release Entertainment and Singham Returns on the August 15. However, this time Akshay decided to prepone the release by a week and release Entertainment on August 8. But all of that good faith seems to be just not enough. The two are still going to clash this year.

Ajay’s Action Jackson will now release November 7 and, intentionally or not, the Akshay’s Shaukeen remake also releases on the same day. The Shaukeen remake will see Akshay pair opposite Lisa Haydon while Action Jackson will see Ajay paired opposite Sonakshi Sinha.

So what’s on between the two superstars? We wonder…After missing out twice are they intentionally trying to collide this year at some point or the other? What do you think BollywoodLifers?
