The popular actors who have worked with Vidhu Vinod Chopra reveal what they liked in the Sharman Joshi and Boman Irani-starrer that released today
In a unique way to promote his films, Vidhu Vinod Chopra, the producer of Ferrari Ki Sawaari, which released today, got some of his biggie actor friends from the film industry to share their thoughts on the sweet-salty tale of a father and his son.
In the video, Amitabh Bachchan (he acted in Chopra’s last directorial project, Eklavya: the Royal Guard) said, “It’s such a surprise to watch something so normal and so original, and so well put together”.
Meanwhile, the star of the filmmaker’s Parinda and 1942: A Love Story, Anil Kapoor couldn’t stop raving about lead actor Sharman Joshi. “I am genuinely saying that I haven’t seen such a good film in the last ten years,” said the Jhakaas actor and added, “I don’t think Ferarri… would be so beautiful and terrific if a big star would have played Sharman’s character. I think he is absolutely perfect for Ferrari. I was really moved by his performance. And this is just the beginning for him as an actor.”
The emotional superstar Sanjay Dutt, who got a new lease of life in films with VVC’s Munnabhai series said, “There were portions in the film when I really wanted to cry. The film reminds me of my dad.”
The South superstar Venkatesh too shared his thoughts on the film. He said: “You want to see some warm, heart touching, sensitive, fun loving and clean emotions, you have to watch Ferrari Ki Sawaari.”
Let’s hope the positive words accelerate Ferrari Ki Saawari’s ride at the box office.
