Amitabh Bachchan dedicates poem to Abhi-Ash’s ‘Beti B’
The new ‘Dadaji’ has dug out lines written by Harivansh Rai Bachchan for his baby granddaughter
Amitabh Bachchan is obviously overwhelmed with the little one in his arms, as seen in the picture published by Rediff.com. He is delighted with bahu Aishwarya and beta Abhishek’s first baby and is blogging and tweeting about it everyday. The actor, who quotes suitable lines written by his famous poet dad at every given opportunity, or should we say, occasion, has chosen some special words for his baby grandchild which were written when he was born. Says he on his blog, “She is home ! And nothing could give us all greater joy and happiness .. There is so much to say and so much emotion, but I think excerpts from my Fathers poem, written at the time I was born, say enough !” Here is the poem by the late Harivansh Rai Bachchan shared by Big B on his blog, dedicated to Beti B, in Hindi:
फुल्ल कमल ,
गोद नवल ,
मोद नवल ,
गेह में विनोद नवल |
नवल दृश्य ,
नवल दृष्टि ,
जीवन का नव भविष्य ,
जीवन की नवल सृष्टि |
