Amitabh Bachchan lends his voice for a mythological film!

Big B’s baritone will be heard in Ramanand Sagar’s grandson’s next

A little birdie tells us that Amitabh Bachchan has lent his voice for a mythological film titled Arasari Maa Ambe. The film is being directed by Ramanand Sagar’s grandson, Shiv Sagar. The film chronicles the myths and history of the Ambaji temple in Gujarat. Shiv told a popular daily, “When my dad (Prem Sagar) and I approached Bachchan saab, he immediately agreed. Our families go back a long way. Jayaji (Jaya Bachchan) and dad studied together at FTII Pune.”

Shiv, who has directed TV shows talks about his movie directorial debut, “I jumped at the opportunity the minute I was offered a chance to direct the movie. It’s very different from television because there we tend not to be so hands on.”

In the past, Big B’s voice has been used in films like Lagaan, Boss, Krrish 3 and many more. What more, he has even lent his voice to a documentary on the CBI. Well, we hope his voice is used for a very strong character in the mythological film Arasari Maa Ambe. After all, a voice that deep can’t suit anyone or anything ordinary, hai na?
