Amitabh Bachchan tells the media not to work too hard!

An amused Mr Bachchan said that, when he saw the television media gathered outside his bungalow after reading his tweet about a CT scan

On Monday, Amitabh Bachchan went on Twitter and shared his health woes. “Last night…I rose from my desk to get to bed, but excruciating pain, stopped me in my tracks and I found it difficult to walk, to stand, to sit, to lie down. Quite horrendous!” he wrote.

Later he tweeted saying, “I have no answer. But tomorrow (Tuesday), there should be one as I prepare for a CT-Scan after devouring a large bottle or bottles of that yellow fluid…”

After reading Big B’s message on the social networking site, crowds of media persons reached his home in Juhu this morning, asking about his health condition and the results of the CT scan. Amitabh, who was quite flummoxed when he heard about the people gathered outside the gate of his home later tweeted, “Security asks media crew reason for chase, they refer to my Twitter on CT Scan…goodness ! Is that what power of twitter really is ?! Got to be careful of what to write on Twitter and Blog .. screenplay writers abound !!(sic).”

Big B also found a great way of getting to the media. Instead of answering queries face to face, he chose to inform the press about his health via Twitter. “Dearest tv media and vans outside my home, please do not stress and work so hard. Its nothing, just another visit to my doctor!!(sic).” Well Mr Bachchan, you heard of black humour?
