The Jab Tak Hai Jaan actor, who is quite calm otherwise, lashed out on Twitter recently. Read on to know more…
Ever since Narendra Modi made a stunning victory in the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections, the media circuit has been abuzz with reports about a Twitter account where Shahrukh Khan allegedly declared he would leave the country in the wake of Modi becoming the Prime Minister. The post was shared by former Bigg Boss contestant Kamaal R Khan, who is known for making nasty comments about B-town celebs. This obviously didn’t go down too well with all the Modi supporters, who voiced their dissent against Shahrukh. However, it later turned out that the image shared by KRK was morphed as SRK‘s original Twitter handle. Naturally this whole incident has left the Baadshah Khan fuming with anger.
Angry over all the hate tweet against him, the Chennai Express actor took to Twitter to refute the fake tweet. “Good time to tell all fools who r talking of a tweet that I didn’t tweet, u suck as much as the grammar of that fake tweet & I’m being kind ( sic),” an angry King Khan tweeted.
A popular daily reported that BJP had already dismissed the Anti-Modi tweet and had issued a statement that read, “Mr Shahrukh Khan always avoids making political statements declaring himself as apolitical.”
Well, as they say, all’s well that ends well.
