We hear the senior actor is facing serious health issues and has decided to quit the show
Mohnish Behl returned to television after a long time with Kuch Toh Log Kahenge and we were glad to see him. Sadly, we now hear that he is quitting the show. No, it’s got nothing to do with the ratings of KTLK. It’s a far more serious reason than that. Mohnish has been suffering from severe back pain and it is becoming impossible for him to shoot for the show. You are aware that ever since the new ruling came into place last year, TV stars can shoot for a maximum 12 hours in a day. Of course, that often extends unofficially to 14 or 16 hours, especially if the show is a daily soap like KTLK. We hear that the strain was too much for Mohnish. Sneha Rajani, EVP and Business Head, Sony Entertainment Television confirmed the news and tweeted, “It is true that Mohnish Behl is leaving Kuch Toh Log Kehenge #KTLK – due to health reasons. His docs hv advised him to rest and to not work the kind of hours & days a daily soap requires.We therefore mutually agreed to part ways rather than let his health suffer.”
While that’s sad news for Mohnish’s fans, there’s good news for fans of Anuj Saxena. The Kkusum actor will most probably replace Mohnish on the show. A li’l birdie has told us that Mohnish’s character Dr Ashutosh will have an accident in the story to enable his exit and Anuj will enter the show. It’s as yet undecided whether Anuj will be the new Dr Ashutosh (after plastic surgery and some liposuction, perhaps?) or he will be a new character altogether. And oh dear, what will happen to Dr Nidhi (Kritika Kamra) now? Whom will she moon over? Does this mean Mallika and Nidhi will be friends? We’ll let you know as soon as we hear more buzz about that!

No we don’t want him to quit, without him there will no interest in serial.but it’s serious for him then it ok, however we want him back in show. So ”get well soon” Mr. Mohnish.
