Anuj Saxena to replace Mohnish Behl in ‘Kuch Toh Log Kahenge’!
We hear the senior actor is facing serious health issues and has decided to quit the show
Mohnish Behl returned to television after a long time with Kuch Toh Log Kahenge and we were glad to see him. Sadly, we now hear that he is quitting the show. No, it’s got nothing to do with the ratings of KTLK. It’s a far more serious reason than that. Mohnish has been suffering from severe back pain and it is becoming impossible for him to shoot for the show. You are aware that ever since the new ruling came into place last year, TV stars can shoot for a maximum 12 hours in a day. Of course, that often extends unofficially to 14 or 16 hours, especially if the show is a daily soap like KTLK. We hear that the strain was too much for Mohnish. Sneha Rajani, EVP and Business Head, Sony Entertainment Television confirmed the news and tweeted, “It is true that Mohnish Behl is leaving Kuch Toh Log Kehenge #KTLK – due to health reasons. His docs hv advised him to rest and to not work the kind of hours & days a daily soap requires.We therefore mutually agreed to part ways rather than let his health suffer.”
While that’s sad news for Mohnish’s fans, there’s good news for fans of Anuj Saxena. The Kkusum actor will most probably replace Mohnish on the show. A li’l birdie has told us that Mohnish’s character Dr Ashutosh will have an accident in the story to enable his exit and Anuj will enter the show. It’s as yet undecided whether Anuj will be the new Dr Ashutosh (after plastic surgery and some liposuction, perhaps?) or he will be a new character altogether. And oh dear, what will happen to Dr Nidhi (Kritika Kamra) now? Whom will she moon over? Does this mean Mallika and Nidhi will be friends? We’ll let you know as soon as we hear more buzz about that!

oh no ! this was d only serial which i used to watch with my husband n we both admired MB as d role suites him a lot…i think we’ll not be able to watch it without him…..n its such a sweet serial…

I wish the producers and MB work out a way in the story so that he can work in the serial and not strain himself much.
Anuj is a bad choice.He lacks the depth and earthiness in the character.
Pls MB don’t quit.

This is only serial I along-with my family use to watch regularly. If Mr Behl unfit to continue the shooting then he should take rest. When I came to know about arrival of Dr. Anuj Saxena, I am so excited and happy to see him in KTLK. I heartily welcome him to KTLK, as he was a successful lead actor in Successful Mega Serial KUSUM and KUMKUM. We are waiting to see our favorite actor Dr. Anuj Saxena again in television after a long gap. WE WISH HIM ALL THE BEST……!!!!!!

pls don’t bring Anuj as new character. he should be Dr Ashutosh. otherwise there will be difficult to watch this serial without Ashu.

It is sad news for the viewers and for the channel too, becoz most of the viewers will not watch it without Mohnish Bahl. I will stop watching it from next week.
No one want to see the LIFELESS serial becoz Mohnish is soul of the show without him we can not imagine Dr Ashutosh character. I request the channel give him few days rest and flexible timing for shooting with him or end this show by happy ending at this stage Nidhi and Ashutosh are planning to get married let everybody happy with their relationship and end the show after showing both are happily married.
Mr Mohnish please take good care of your health and come back on the show.

Don’t leave the show due to you we watch the show there must be any other option for your back pain get bed rest & then go for shoot but no match for Dr Ashutosh role its you only whom we want to see

MB is soul of KTLK. Without him I can not watch it anymore. Its better to give seasonal break to recover him and then start again. Already there are several shows going on on SONY TV, till that time give other serial more time. When MB fully recover start KTLK again. I am sure this show will not run successfully without him and fans are already started commenting the same.

It is a shock that MB is quitting … Its good bye for us to the show cant accepth anyone else as ashutosh …its a devastating news…The min he quits I would not watch it again.
