Anurag Kashyap defends Kalki’s role in ‘ZNMD’

Director of That Girl In Yellow Boots says that viewers are racist

Talking about people’s perception about stars, love-struck director Anurag Kashyap defended his wife Kalki in a recent interview. When he was told that viewers weren’t very happy about Kalki’s presence in her last film, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, he said, “The audience only wants to see stars in the films, where everyone is good-looking and there is a lot of song and dance. People want Hrithik Roshan to only do films like Krrish, that is why cinema here is in the pits.” While we do appreciate Kashyap’s films, we don’t quite understand his rants against Bollywood masala films.
