The Oscar winning music composer was delighted when he saw a board having the street name Allah-Rakha Rahman in Ontario, Canada
After making inroads into Hollywood, AR Rahman has decided to go places! He continues to receive some distinguished recognition for his immense contribution to the world of music. The Slumdog Millionaire music composer has won two Academy Awards, two Grammy Awards, a Golden Globe for his immense contribution to international music. He is also a proud winner of four National Awards and 15 Filmfare Awards.
And now the maestro has a street named after him in Markham, Ontario, Canada. The 42-year-old singer was spotted holding the board having the street’s name that read ‘Allah-Rakha Rahman st’. A delighted Rahman posted a picture of him holding the board and tweeted “Welcome to my street! (In Markham, ON, Canada).”
We certainly are proud of the maestro for making India shine on the global map with his extraordinary compositions!
