If you think they do make a sizzling onscreen jodi, then you should thank Karan Johar

Fresh goss from tinselville says that Dharma Productions top boss Karan Johar may have pulled off a casting coup for his next production. Our friendly spy revealed to us recently that Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor may share screen space again for a magnum opus directed by Agneepath-fame filmmaker Karan Malhotra.

And that’s not only a shining feather for everyone’s cap at Dharma, but for Duggu and Bebo too. Coz the estranged ‘good friends’, if they say ‘yes’ to the film, will star opposite each other after nine long years (their last film together was Rajshri’s Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon).

Ever since Subhash Ghai’s Yaadein, Duggu-Bebo got mentioned in the same league of hot onscreen couples as Shahrukh Khan-Kajol, Aamir Khan-Juhi Chawla et al. But the young actors’ sizzling off-screen screen chemistry thwarted their shining future together as a new fave jodi on the big screen. Rumour has it that Hrithik (who was in a long and steady relationship with Susanne by then) and the then-single Kareena were completely smitten with each other. So after MPKDH, they decided not to work together.

Now it seems that KJo has managed to get his rakhi sister Bebo to say yes to the Agneepath director’s next project opposite Duggu. Apparently the Dharma guys await a reply from the Krrish 3 superhero, who has become increasingly picky about the work he takes on. We’ll let you know as soon as we hear anything from the illustrious production house. But like most fans of the superstars, we have our fingers and toes crossed hoping the good friends call truce and recreate their long-ago magic on the silver screen.
