Are Karan Johar and Aditya Chopra listening to Sherlyn Chopra’s plea?

After being featured on the cover of Playboy, the sexy siren is looking homewards

Flying high after adorning the cover of the international men’s mag Playboy and hobnobbing with founder Hugh Hefner in his plush Beverly Hills house, Sherlyn Chopra turned up all covered up – well, sort of – in a sari at a recent press conference.

And we were a little confused! Why this sati-savitri image right after she posed nude for the American glossy? What’s the sex-sational babe hiding that no one had seen?

The press conference was held for her to tell all about her experience of being the first Indian to be a Playboy cover model. But Sherlyn also revealed her Bollywood ambitions at the meet. She said: “I would like to do a film with KJo and YRF”. We thought she too, like her contemporary Mallika Sherawat, would vie for a share in the pie called Hollywood.

Nevertheless, hasn’t the sexy siren already worked with Aditya Chopra’s illustrious banner? Remember Dil Bole Hadippa, co-starring Shahid Kapoor and Rani Mukerji? Maybe she knows that, like the film, no one remembers her itsy-bitsy role in the unmemorable flick.

Sherlyn’s new goals reinforce the belief that Indian girls may tour the world in teeny-weeny designer dresses, but there’s nothing like stepping out in a Manish Malhotra anarkali, wearing MAC blusher and lipstick and singing a love duet in the sarson ke khet or the Swiss Alps! Right, Sherlyn?

Let’s wait to found out if her new feather in her big hat – becoming an international sensation – does any wonders for her Bollywood career.
