Does that mean the two of them really did go out for coffee and movie dates a while ago?

A long time before Ishaqzaade released, a 26-year-old man was seen hanging out with the Band Baaja Baaraat girl at cafés and cinema halls. Soon the media went wild speculating whether the Yash Raj Films’ debutants Arjun Kapoor and Anushka Sharma were victims of the laws of attraction. But neither of the actors would talk about the public sightings.

Finally, in an exclusive interview to BollywoodLife, the Ishaqzaade actor cleared the air about the rumours. “I ended up going to watch a film (at a cinema hall) and she was also there,” he laughs off the movie date idea and continues, “Then the coffee story – we (Anushka, Arjun and other friends) were all working till late at the Yash Raj studios. After we wrapped up, we stepped out with the director and producer to grab something to eat. A lot of people were there, but again it was written that Anushka and I were together. I am very fond of her, but these are just sporadic events.”

We get it that there was nothing romantic about Arjun’s outings with Anushka, but from what he said, we think he wouldn’t mind whispering words of endearment into the attractive babe’s ears over a cuppa coffee! But for that he’ll have to beat Ranveer Singh, who has been recently spotted having lots of coffee - and more – with the hottie.
