The Housefull 2 actor prefers to keep a low profile despite her string of blockbuster hits
Asin Thottumkal arrived in Bollywood with Aamir Khan’s Ghajini and has been a part of hugely successfull films like Ready and Housefull 2. In a very short span of time Asin has made a place for herself in B-town. She will soon be seen romancing Ajay Devgn in Rohit Shetty’s Bol Bachchan, but the Dhinka chika babe insists that she isn’t selling herself hard enough. In a recent interview she said, “I never tom-tommed about it (her Rs 100cr big screen outings) nor did I want to call myself lucky for someone else. What can I say, I guess, I am just really bad at marketing myself (laughs). But I seriously believe that if the film works, it works in totality and not because of a particular actor, so enjoy the success, but why take all credit? That’s juvenile, which I certainly am not.” We wonder why Asin is putting up a humble front, not very long ago we heard her bragging about bagging a role in Sanjay Gupta’s film and was put back in place pronto by the irked filmmaker. Do you think Asin needs a better PR machinery?
