Ayesha Takia and Sidhartha Mallya in a Twitter war!

An angry Ayesha Takia started posting hate messages about Kingfisher Airlines on Monday night. Sidhartha Mallya, who had no clue what was happening, was flummoxed when he started receiving unpleasant comments about his company on his twitter timeline

A furious Ayesha Takia Azmi started posting a series of hate messages about Kingfisher Airlines on Monday night. Ayesha’s sister Natasha, who was traveling from Delhi to Mumbai on a Kingfisher Airlines flight, was not allowed to board the plane for reasons we are still trying to understand. Ayesha says that a member of the airport staff by the name of Vinay Podwal who was stationed at the Kingfisher counter tore her sister’s boarding pass and threatened to throw her out of the airport.

Here’s what Ayesha said in her tweets: “The worst airline, kingfisher!!!shockingly baddddddddddd airport staff behavior at delhi airport with my sister. This disgustingly behaved kingfisher staff called Vinay podwal just tore my sisters boarding pass n misbehaved with her!!!! Can’t believe thisssss!!!I’m in mumbai n I wish I was there rite now 2!soooo angry !! #WorstAirlineEver…kingfisher! How can this happen!!!how dare this vinay podwal misbehave with a passenger and tare her boarding pass,it cud b any one of u!! think about it. My heart is beating so fast with anger that a girl at an airport gets treated this way by airport staff!he is at the kingfisher counter. Is this how a girl alone at an airport gets treated by the staff of the airline she is flying?!?!?!? Vinay podwal at delhi airport, kingfisher staff just threatend and yelled at my sister saying he can throw any1 out n TORE her boarding pass! She is unwell n tired n hurt from being mistreated n threatened…I’m shocked!”

The actor though did not mention what actually led to that incident. People started joining in at this time and started sharing their bad experiences with the airline. “Totally agree wid u..something similar happened to me when I was flying kingfisher… DissapoiNting.” And then some folks on the micro-blogging site started tweeting hate messages to Sidhartha Mallya as well. One said, “@Ayeshatakia: #WorstAirlineEver…kingfisher!” True, evn I had some worst experience of flying. #pathetic @sidharthamallya @TheVijayMallya.” Several suggested that Ayesha file a complaint against the Kingfisher and the concerned person.

Siddhartha received many tweets there after. The son of the Chairman of Kingfisher Airlines wasn’t pleased with what was happening on the social networking site since it wasn’t good PR for the company and he was completely confused about why people were reacting in this manner. He tweeted back: “Been getting tweets about Ayesha Takia & KFA. Not too sure who she is, an actor of some sorts?? But it seems something has upset her,” Sidhartha tweeted. “Don’t know why Ayesha Takia is tweeting so much when she wasn’t even present. There are always two sides to a story. Pipe down love,” he said. This cold response did not go down well with Ayesha. Especially when he said ‘Who is Ayesha Takia? An actor of some sorts?’

To this, a furious Ayesha replied, “Well any indian citizen can stand up for their rites if treated badly, and I don’t have to be anyone u know sidharth mallya! u wernt there either so don’t b condescending and defend ur freakin staff, first find out wot happened !u clearly r unaware of A LOT sidharth M! I will rant siddharth mallaya,,wot will u DO! this Is ur way of dealing with a hospitality buiseness!!!wow!!learn manners n respect!”

Soon Kingfisher issued an official statement saying that Ayesha’s sister was only booked on a Kingfisher flight from Delhi to Mumbai. But since her flight arriving in Delhi from Kathmandu was late, she missed the connection. “As soon as she produced a confirmation from the airline on which she arrived certifying that their flight arrived late, our staff offered her a wait-listed option on our next available flight, as our next flight was running full. We categorically deny that any of our staff misbehaved with this valued guest. We also deny that any of our staff tore her boarding card as alleged,” said the statement.

Ayesha tweeted again saying that statement issued by the company was false. “How can the kingfisher make lie statements to the press. natasha travelled AI back to Mumbai due to this. Natasha was booked in KF from Kathmandu to Mumbai. KF cancelled their flt and gave a bkg in AI. Not her fault AI was delayed.”

She ended the tirade with “Love n peace 2 u all!” Let’s hope this is the end of this long drawn twitter war. But we are sure that hereafter Mallya junior will think twice before putting down any B-town actor!
