Ayesha Takia walks out of Rajeev Khandelwal starrer

After shooting for Fever for 10 days, the Wanted babe left the film’s team high and dry

A little birdie reveals that talented actor Ayesha Takia recently behaved in the mostly unexpected and unethical manner. The story is that the Wanted babe shot for a new movie called Fever in Europe with Rajeev Khandewal for 10 days and then, all of a sudden, left the film. Our source says, “Ayesha’s behaviour was a shock. The film does not have an extravagant budget and her walkout is not only unprofessional, but also led to financial loss.” Two-film old producer Ravi Agrawal (he made Radio and Deadline-Sirf 24 Ghante) is backing the project. This romantic mystery is being helmed by first-time director Rajeev Jhaveri, who has made short films. The source continues, “Ayesha seems to have told the crew that she was unsure of the director’s abilities and so left the film, but if that was the case, why would Rajeev do it? After all, he has more at stake. I think there is more to the story.” Fever is the same movie that was rumoured to be Kites-fame Barbara Mori’s comeback to Bollywood.

Apparently, Rajeev Khandewal is expected to go bold in this film. Buzz is that for the first time the Aamir actor lip-locks onscreen in Fever. Speaking about the film, the source informed us that “It is expected to be on the lines of Murder and everyone feels that perhaps Ayesha left it mid-way for that reason. But she had the script in hand before signing it. The producers have lost money and will have to re-shoot the portions shot with Ayesha.” The team is back in the city after filming with Rajeev Khandelwal and a new girl in Europe. Several attempts to get Ayesha’s side of the story were futile. The actor did not reply to the messages. Even the producer and director of Fever chose to keep mum on the walkout.
